What FlexPackMFG Is

FlexPackMFG is the educational and discovery layer for the flexible packaging manufacturing industry. It is not a single manufacturer's website. It is an independent knowledge hub designed to serve brands, buyers, packaging engineers, and manufacturing teams who need reliable, practical information about flexible packaging.

The site covers materials, manufacturing processes, supplier discovery, buyer education, and technical reference content developed from decades of real industry experience.

Why This Exists

Flexible packaging is complex. The materials science, manufacturing processes, supplier landscape, and buyer requirements are difficult to navigate without a guide who has been inside the factories and on the production floor. Most educational resources online are too shallow, too vendor-biased, or too academic to be useful for real decisions.

FlexPackMFG was built to change that. The goal is to capture institutional manufacturing knowledge and make it accessible to the entire industry.

The Expert Behind the Content

The primary knowledge source for FlexPackMFG is Rod Ali, a flexible packaging industry veteran with 35+ years of hands-on experience in film extrusion, flexographic printing, press operations, color management, converting, pouch manufacturing, and production troubleshooting.

Rod has operated and managed production lines across multiple facilities, diagnosed hundreds of packaging failures, and trained production teams across North America. His knowledge base forms the foundation of the technical content on this site.
